thrillhouse
I think that means it can't find some/all of your hard drives and DVD drives, usually because it can't identify your IDE/SATA controller. To fix that, you need the proper kexts. The easiest solution is to just try different OSx86 versions until you find one that works (cause it has the kexts you need). If your motherboard uses a JMicron controller, try using the Kalyway DVD.
anima322
Does it freeze or does the computer reboot? Its unimportant wether i start with -x or -v or not... I think you have a different problem, I don't think I can help you with that. Try some trial and error... change some of your bios settings and disable some hardware and see what happens. As I said above, you can also try different OSx86 versions. If you can, boot in -v and try to get the last line (or last few lines) it shows before it reboots and post it in a new thread, maybe someone will be able to give you more help. spartango
Ok, i have a similar setup that works, so don't despair yet: first, in the BIOS/SETUP set the SATA mode from RAID to IDE. This worked for me. iAtkos has the drivers for the ICH8 chipset on the disk, as does uphuck's tiger editions. I'm no so sure about kalyway. You may also want to unplug the internal HD for the time being, as OSX will try to boot from it sometimes. boot with boot flags -v -x, this will make things clearer for everyone. Make sure to get the right rivers for you 8600GT. also, don't expect the lan to work b/c there are no working drivers for it. This goes for a lot of other accessories you have. Good luck!
