thanks Unstable for your sdvice, I have the laptop screen working, I just kept touching the touchpad as it was booting and the screen finally came on, I haven't turned it off yet and on to see what happens.

But now for the sound issue, it appears this laptop has the following sound chip: STAC9750TG Codec Chip, 16-bit stereo SoundBlaster Pro, I haven't a clue where I can get a driver for this baby, anyone have a clue, drop me a yell !!!

(( Nevermind, I got the sound to work by adjusting the Bios ..... ))

well after rebooting I get the same Blue Screen, after reading several posts on similar problems, I can boot successfully by hiting the F5 Key[ external to internal monitor button] several times during the bootup and the LCD monitor to the laptop turns on and I complete a successful boot, it's either I need to update the Bios -or- possibly something Maxxuss could look into, since alot of people seem to be having the same problem....
