This is my first time trying to install any kind of mac os on my system, and I have tried numerous commands while booting (-s, -v, -f, -x, cpus=1, and vanilla). However no matter what i do, it will only boot up so far in the installations. Depending on the boot up commands, it may either go to the grey apple loading screen and hang, or it will give me a device is write locked error. I've looked for days throughout the forum with no success, plus the fact the search feature is a little goofed up doesnt help much either. Is there anyway to allow the device to be written to so that installation may continue, since i believe that is the main problem?
