talkbuddy5
Hello, Please Help!! I installed KalyWay, SSE2, NO DRIVERS...seems only way it would go past that rebooting cycle after install. After I installed with those OPTIONS ONLY, it would show the white screen , darwin, and it would show the loading spinner, then a GREY SCREEN, with an POWER ICON in the BACKGROUND CAME UP, with WHITE TEXT, in ENGLISH AND LIKE 3 OTHER LANGUAGES, saying "Hold power button down for a few seconds, when prompted click reboot" I rebooted again with "-v", no red text or errors showed up, the LAST THING TO BE SHOWN, is the the Apple Model/INFO: 9xxxxx, followed by the author, or creater, then it just stays there. I will get a picture when i get home if it helps. HELP, NOT SURE WHAT TO DO. My Hardware: DELL PRECISION M60 (LAPTOP) Pentium M 1.7 GeForce FX Go 1000 1.5 RAM Sigmatecl Audio PLEASE HELP! =-Devin-=
I get the SAME problem ALL the time...Heres a pic of the screen What could be the problem? Thats a basic Kernel Panic. Before boot, type "-V" no quotes, and send us a picture of that, when it stops. Then we can help out a bit more. Also, some PC Specs wouldn't hurt. talkbuddy5
I got FARTHER! This TIME I DID, SSE2, gfNvidia drivers, and MBR...along with the EFI MBR this time, after teh darwin load screen it went black, then blue, then black WITH THE CURSOR MOVEABLE, and peridically showing the THINKING COLOR CURSER, but stayed like that ...all I could do was move the mouse around, and it would show teh hard drive thinking.....eventually i got tired of it and shut it down. Ill keep playing around till i get a fix Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/85080-noob-here-after-leopard-install-darwin-loads-but/#findComment-604882 Share on other sites
