cadeucsb
I have a pk5-e board...I only installed Vanilla/GUID on my Kaly install. LAN worked out of the box, video drivers were installed via NVinstaller. I cant get audio working, everyone says the AppleAzaliaAudio.kext is the way to go for the pk5. I ran the AzaliaAudio.pkg and now have the kext file in extensions, rebooted and still no sound device. The mobo box says Audio: ADI AD1988B onboard audio if that helps for anything. Let me know what you think. Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/84976-pk5-e-sound-help/ Share on other sites
digitallysick
When you used the kalyway disc did you select customize and then "asus pk5-e audio" ? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/84976-pk5-e-sound-help/#findComment-603279 Share on other sites
