My box building days started in 93 and ended in 01, so I'm a bit out of sync with everything that is going on these days. Brushing up at Toms, Here, and all over the web I arrived at the following choice in building my 10.5.x only box. For those of you also building a box, here is what I have come up with so far and I am open to suggestions: *MOBO: GA-P35-DS3P v2.1 *CPU: E8400 Wolfdale *RAM: ?? (was thinking about: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...82E16820144213) *VID: 8800GTS (G92) EVA 512-P3- GeForceGTS 512, 256-bit, PCIe 2.0x16 or 8800GT 512 *POWER: ?? (thinking about: OCZ700GXSSLI 700W - $130) *CDROM: LITEON-SATA My objective with the post is to hear opinions on the best choice for RAM for my setup. 800, 1000, or 1066?
