Amazondani Posted February 4, 2006 Share Posted February 4, 2006 Hi people, I've tried installing 10.4.3 in Vmware and native, but with no luck. So i decided to take another approach. Using deadmoo's image and vmware, in another computer, I installed 10.4.3 onto this image and dd'ed to my notebook. Every thing is fine, but I'm getting stuck on: IOATAController device blocking bus. What that means?? I Hope you can help, and this can be , a solution for the ones that still could not install 10.4.3 in their machines. The Other Machine: Celeron D 2.66 SSE3 No NX, PAE 512 MB of ram Using Vmware to install the 10.4.3 on the img file. Mine: See my signature Thanks in advance! OBS: I'm using Wesley's patch on 10.4.3 8F1111 Jas 4.2b patch made me get stuck every time in BSD root : major 5 minor 4. At list with wesley's patch i could get further.
