rob356
Here is what I am trying to do. I have two computers, a PC and an iMac. on the PC I have Windows Server 2008 RC1, the Mac has 10.5.1. my setup is like this, Internet --> Router --> PC(Server) and iMac What I want is to have an Active directory domain controller set up and have the Mac connect to it. I also am working on VPN and a Web server, but that is not my problem. I am kinda sure I have the Server set up correctly, but when ever i try and use Directory Utility to connect to my domain (yes I am using a real domain name) it says it cannot find it. My brain hurst and I am out of Ideas, can anyone help? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/84532-active-directory-and-105/ Share on other sites

rob356
I fixed it. All I did was go in and add the IP of my DNS server at the TOP of the list, not the bottom. then when I went to add it it spit back an error, but the error doesn't matter because all I did was change the computer name and It worked!
