poutchzzz
Hello, I installed VMWare Fusion 1.1 62573 on the following config: - kalyway 10.5.1 without vanilla kernel (my understanding it works only on Core 2 Duo). - Pentium D 820 2.8GHz - ASUS P5LD2 motherboard (BIOS updated to 1903), chipset Intel 945P - Corsair Twin2x 2x1Gb DDR2 PC6400 cas 4 - Maxtor Sata 250Gb - MSI NX7300GT The overall system seems to run very well. But, I have an XP vm installed in a preallocated virtual disk that is played very nicely on my dell D620 laptop (under VMWare workstation 6.0.2) The same vm setup with 1Gb of RAM and 2core is played very slowly on the hackintosh previously described. This vm is optimised with many services and antivirus turns off. It sounds like accesses to disk or to memory are very slow. Did anyone faced this kind of issue ? Thanks. muitommy
vmware and parallels are known to have slow performance if u leave it over a period of time. new version vmware, 72241 is released .. that should work better.
