leifern
I managed to install the jad 10.4.8 on my amd, x200 system, hp pavilion dv5000 laptop upon rebooting i got a grey loading screen. after a while music started playing and then a voice comand configuration where i had to press keys. i was then able to move across this "invisible screen" (the grey apple loading thing was still running) by holding ctrl+cmd and the arrow keys. I didnt get anywhere so i booted into windows and went about deleting the kexts as told in the installtion guide for x200 chipset. When i then tried booting osx the grey loading screen would have a cross on top of the apple logo Should i reinstall??? how am i able to see an actual screen instead of the voice command thing??? happycar
Sounds like an issue with the video drivers! So you heard the Mac OS X Intro theme and can hear the voiceover guy, but have just a grey screen? What are the specs of your machine and which version of OS did you install? JaS? Which options did you tick in Video?
leifern
thanks for reply. I installed again and it worked. Until the akronis bootloader stopped recognising osx and vista... :S
