Alright I am starting this thread for anybody who has had luck installing Tiger or even Leopard on a Presario 2500 or wants to do so

A briefing on the Presario 2500:

There are like 70 variations of this laptop, mine happens to be a 2581US. Here are the specs according to Everest:

  • Mobile Pentinum 4, 2.3ghz (No SSE3) :D
  • 768mb Ram (I have 128mb set to be dedicated to graphics through the BIOS)
  • ATI IGP345M Video Chipset
  • TEAC DVD drive
  • Internal Broadcom Air-Force-One Wifi card
  • 80gb Seagate HD

I HAVE ATTACHED AN EVEREST SUMMARY REPORT AS A TEXT DOCUMENT WITH THE FULL SPECS!!!!

If anybody has had any success with this laptop please post here and tell us your method please!!

thank you!

Here are some pictures of it, not like they will do much good

This laptop is very thick and heavy my friends have dubbed it "the tank" see the picture with the AA battery? they are both the same exact height.
