Hi Friends!

I stuck on a problem after installing leopard on my notebook. This is the configuration:

CLEVO m250n

Motherboard: at Everest and CPU-Z reported as "CLEVO"

CHIPSET: Mobile Intel 945GM/PM/GMS/940GML

Processor: Intel Core2Duo T5300

Memory: 1048MB

HD: 120GB SATA2, but installing on a external 40GB USB HDD.

Video: Integrated GMA945/950.

I have tried install with ToH 10.5, Kalyway 10.5.1 (with boot EFI, Vanilla, MBR or GUID). Anyone boot. I got only an blinking cursor at the left top of screen. I think that BIOS are trying to find the bootloader, because the Ctrl+Alt+Del combination get me to an restart of computer, and if I disconnect the HD from USB i get the message "Error loading booter". The BIOS are an Phoenix, modified by CLEVO, then it doesn't support any configuration.

Please! Can anyone help me?

Try these two methods:

1) Enabling boot flag

- Boot from GParted Live CD. Right-click on the disk you've installed Leopard in and click on manage flags. check the option that says 'boot' and press ok and reboot. You should be able to boot in leopard now.

2) Bios Setting

- Go into your BIOS setting and toggle Data Execution Prevention enable or disable. Try booting now.

For your problem, only one of it might work, so don't try the other one if your computer runs fine with any of them.

I hope my first post in the forum helped you!

PM me if you need any help!

I tried to install about 15 times.

Only one time I got it to boot, but when I restarted the system, I got the same problem.

I'll try to edit the flags, because my sucker bios doesn't have ANY configuration, only an BIOS password...

Thanks for the help. Later I post some feedback here!
