scousi Posted January 26, 2008 Share Posted January 26, 2008 I installed OSX 10.4.10 on an external USB drive on my HP DV6700 (6757) . The problem is that when I select Boot from USB drive I get "missing operaring system" If I use Acronis OS Selector, I can boot OSX86 from the USB drive - however my stock Vista installation is not seen by Acronis! So without Acronis (I have the latest version) I can't see OSX86 from the BIOS but Vista works normally With Acronis I can see OSX86 but Not Vista. Anyone have a suggestion this problem? Did u try on all ports available? Yes that's the version I have. The problem I have with Acronis is not booting MacOS from the external USB drive but booting Vista. Acronis does not see it at all as an operating system on my Laptop.
