dpoon
1. I installed Jas 10.4.8 Intel SSE3 PF1 on VMWare 6.0.2 on my Vista Ultimate install. However, I have no network. When I am installing I use "Host Only" for ethernet option. Now I canged it to NAT and it's still not working i.e. Safari is complaining. 2. Also how can my graphics work faster? The internal Gfx I guess is not being used and is using the generic VGA? 3. How do I get Realtek driver for sound? My system info: CPU: Q6600 Core 2 Quad Memory: 4GB Board: Asus P5E-VM HDMI Disk: eSATA 320GB Network: Atheros L1 Adaptor (internal) Gfx: Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator X3500 Sound: Realtek CDROM: HP DVD Writer Can anyone help? Thx. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/83711-network-not-workingatheros-l1-ethernet/ Share on other sites
macgirl
2 things, use previous version/build of VMware and use NAT or Bridge networking. Also check in the preference panel that you got network like an IP address or green light (connected).
