Hi,

I successfully installed Tiger on my Dell Inspirion, but now I am installing it on my home computer which is custom built. I get stuck on the message "Loginwindow application started" and that's it, it hangs.

I have attempted everything I searched for including:

1. Starting with -x -f -v

2. Starting with -x -f -v -legacy cpus=1

3. Starting with -v

4. Using the old loginwindow.app

5. Not installing graphics drivers

6. Installing graphics drivers

Here are my hardware:

EDI Wireless (compatible with mac!)

XFX Geforce 7900GT

USB Mouse

PS/2 Keyboard

IDE DVD/CD Drive

SATA Seagate barricuda 300GB

ATI chipset motherboard

2GB Ram

I am using uphuck v1.3

All help is appreciated!

Hello! I finally got it to work and I am excited!

The problem is actually with the video card, here are the instructions to fix it:

Add video card device id to the NVDANV40Hal.kext, rm -rf Extension.kext & .mkext, kextcache -k Extensions, repaired permissions, Natit installer and then it booted up working fully!
