Tim
Hello. I have a ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe, AMD 3500+ A64, SATA-II Hitachi 80 GB and a rooter to log to the internet. SATA and NFORCE 4 doesn't work, right? So, if i buy a IDE disk it will work? And with a rooter, i will have acess to the internet? Thanks! Ben Eyre
well, my Onboard Nforce 3 Network card didnt, work, luckly when i purchased my MSI K8N Neo Platinum +54G (meaning it came with a msi wireless card) which happens to run on a Ralink Chipset how lucky for me, and after a bit of tinkering with various settings i got it online, and am doing all my posting on osx and i dont intend to dual boot, as for SATA, i cant test since i dont have a sata drive but do have sata ports (4) to be exact, i got the Sound working useing a guide from wiki, so if you happen to have a Realtek ALC850 then the sound will work, to i had to slightly modify the wiki guide myself to get the sound to work but now it works flawlessly no skips, i know this is slightly off what you asked, but i am just trying to provide as much infomation as i can anyway for the sound guide, http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/Audio Good Luck Ben Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/8370-compatibility/#findComment-51882 Share on other sites
