What's a good card in the 8800/3700 range that would play nicely with OSX86? Running EFI bootloader. mtotho Posted January 24, 2008 Share Posted January 24, 2008 I have 8800gts 640mb. It runs fine.. there is even installers for it.. no kext editing. In windows it can surely play any game i have on High detail (Call of duty 4.. idk about crysis) I used to have SLi but dumped it for this non sli motherboard. All of the 8800 series are great.. but ive heard tougher compatibiity with the GT's.. Look for the Punk92 thread.. he has a great installer for the 8800 series.. and quite frankly, i think there the best cards out for gaming in general. (See specs for first computer "Hackintosh1". Running with Vanilla/EFI 100 percent working.)
