ok i cant afford a mac but i loved using osx at school and the video programs and what not that came with it. i think my system should work, it has sse3. so let me start by listing out my system.

amd opteron 144 @ 2.5 Ghz completly stable

Asrock 939 dual sata2

1gb pc3200

atix800gto^2(flashed to 16pipes)

a cheap airlink wireless card

200gb drive for windows,

my 10gb drive i took out of my xbox to run osx hopefully.

 

So do i need the patched wesleys iso or just the native 10.4.3 install cuz i would really love to start getting this running. any help is much appreciated

You should at the least apply the Maxxuss CPUID and RTC fixer patches to avoid kernel panic during installation. Im fairly sure your cpu supports sse3 and nx/xd, so no need to apply those patches. Other than that, I am unfamiliar with the compatability of the ULi M1695 Chipset and 10.4.3, so I don't know wat other patches you'll need.

ok well i have the mac osx 10.4.3 8f1111 for dtk userdvd.dmg I am aware that i need to patch it with something but what? Please could someone point me to a more in depth description because i dont know what the maxxuss cpuid and rtc fixer patches are. I do know my cpu supports sse3 but if my motherboard isnt supported am i SOL or what?
