elected Posted January 23, 2008 Share Posted January 23, 2008 I had installed OSX 10.4.8 amd sse2 sse3 ppf1 ppf2. Having such troubles: typing su at console: command not found, typing nano at console - the same. after installing Realtek 8139ethernet driver system hangs on login window, maximum wallpaper loading and system hangs. elected Posted January 24, 2008 Author Share Posted January 24, 2008 I tried 10.4.6 - wifi was working out of the box, but don't hv video driver for ato radeon xpress1100 to use 1280x800 mode, also sound is working for only internal speakers, but i hv info that 10.4.8 works better on the same laptop. so i decided to install it. in 10.4.8 video working properly but w/out qe & ci, sound works - external devices only, can't make wifi working for now, but i certainly know that it will work, had found some solutions for that, today i'll try them.
