swhitlow Posted January 22, 2008 Share Posted January 22, 2008 Hi! I just downloaded Kalyway 10.5.1 ISO and burned it. I then rebooted my IBM Thinkpad T42 Laptop and after 30 minutes of waiting the first screen comes up. Click on the next button and - 30 minutes later - the next screen appears. This happens over and over again. Click a button - wait 30 minutes. Is there any reason why this is happening? Could someone give me a quick suggestion on how to solve this? Thanks! Mac Loz Posted January 24, 2008 Share Posted January 24, 2008 i had the same problem with kalyway, i think the problem is that what format disc your using, i used a DVD+R on my laptop and it went super fast but the DVD+R wouldn't work on my desktop so i burnt the iso to DVD-R and it went super slow but some how i managed to INSTALL LEOPARD!!!
