bentruyman
I've been trying every current (and even some old) versions of Natit including the original, edited, dual, and auto version of it, with varying results. But none of them have allowed me to get my DVI port working, only the VGA. I can get CI/QE working no problem on the VGA port, but no signal from the DVI. In the Display Preferences, it says the display is not connected. Also, when I power on the display on the DVI port, the VGA monitor shuts off for a second, then turns back on as it was before, and the DVI monitor shuts off saying "No Signal". Has anyone gotten the x1300 to work with both ports? Anyone have any suggestions to try other drivers? This is the last thing I need to get working to have a fully-functional Tiger 10.4.8 install. blackhavoc
Same problem here. I think either no one cares, and we are the only ones who want it working, or no one uses the X1300 anymore, or it just doesn't work. I know the dual DVI x1300's only the TOP DVI port works just like only our TOP VGA works. I have posted this question about 4 times with no replys. I'm waiting till the 512MB HD2900XT is fully supported with no glitches, then upgrading and leave it alone for a while. If you find it somewhere PM me how to get it working, I have a DVI cable here just doing nothing but taunting me... oakleym82
got an X1300 here and got it working with NatitX1300.kext. I have the 512mb dual DVI PCIe card, and I can only get the secondary port working. I've also tried Natit.kext and the Auto version, but can't set the scan rate below 85hz on any res above 1024x768. Any updates on ATI X1X00 series dual head drivers anyone?!?! Krazubu
It's not possible, existing drivers are designed for Xserve which only has 2nd output enabled, support for the 1st output is simply absent from the driver code.
