The carrier "Advanced Info Service" has told press that they are in talks with Apple over revenue sharing, minutes, and other stuff that carriers need to worry about. A spokesperson specifically said that "Apple needs a local operator to promote iPhone, " which is true, considering that talks with China Mobile were just shut down, primarily because of money disputes. It appears that Apple might have to settle with a smaller share of pie if they want to promote the iPhone.
