Two Vista problems

Hi

Here are my problems:

1. I have to have the Vista DVD in my primary DVD drive and have the DVD drive set to first boot in order to boot Vista otherwise I get "DISK BOOT ERROR: COULD NOT FIND SYSTEM DISK". How do I solve that?

2. No matter what I am doing my computer will occasionaly just freeze. The hard drive light will not flash and it is completely unresponsive. I re-formmated my computer but the problem continues. I have Leopard on my other hard drive but that runs fine with no random freezing so it must be Vista. What can I do to find what is causing this problem and then fix it as I had this problem for many months.

Thanks

When i saw the title of this thread i though..."what this time"... Surly your not using Windows still?

Thats why your here, to make OS X work on your PC...

and as for problem one, i had that and i put the Gparded Live CD in the drive, and put a new boot flag on that HDD, it works for me...

or use your favorite Boot CD to try and fix it.
