Ol!ver
I've recently got up and running using the Kalyway 10.5.1 disc and all seems well. I've thought that the HDD doesn't seem to be doing too well, with things taking too long to load. I've just run Xbench and this is what I got, compared to a G5. http://db.xbench.com/merge.xhtml?doc1=2648...;setCookie=true Any ideas? justvisiting
for others, what was the fix? Thanks.
Ol!ver
for others, what was the fix? Thanks. I didn't have ACHPI (not sure if they are the right letters, but you get the idea) turned on. My drive was just being detected as an IDE one. As soon as I changed it, the drives in OS X turned yellow and everything's twice as fast. Only problem is Windows won't load now, but suspect that's a driver problem. A reinstall should sort that.
