phor2zero
Hi Everyone, I'm hoping someone can help me fix my goof. I installed 8f1111g with vmware on a physical drive so I can boot natively. Because I don't have native networking support, I still boot up with vmware to access the internet in osx. Recently I was fiddling around with my network drivers and accidentally deleted a vmware component in my network properties dialog box, (same place you see tcpip and ms networking etc.) Now my vmware nat doesn't work. osx has no internet connection anymore. I've looked in vmware's networking settings and it looks like it's still working..(gateway address is there).. but it's not working. I'm considering uninstalling and reinstalling vmware to fix it, hoping I don't lose my ability to boot up my osx disk in vmware. Is there a simpler way to fix this? ghostzapper
Hi, i would go with trying to remove the NIC within the VMWare settings for your OSX86 Machine and adding it again with the same settings. I would guess thet VMWare reinstalls the 'virtual' NIC in Windows. If this doesn't work, you can still reinstall VMWare.
