makmillion
I've finally succeeded at getting 10.4.8 installed through VMWare, now is there a way to clone it to a normal HDD for normal use? -mak Edit: I guess I should have mentioned that it wouldn't install directly on my PC, it would hang post-GUI and I'd be forced to reboot the PC.. that's why I'd like to know if it's possible to move it over to a hard drive now for normal use.. makmillion
I downloaded and installed VMWare Workstation 6.02 and followed this guide. I'm going to try a few things today to get it installed on my PC, rather than through VMWare.. hopefully I can come back with some good news -mak

kyle elkins
^ Yeah i used it. It was pretty slow ( at least the one i used), much slower than the 10.4.7 vmware image i used to use. It acted oddly at start up and never showed the grey apple screen, it always showed a black screen with text. I got rid of it and now im trying to natively install 10.4.8 through vmware.
