WaxTrax! Posted January 19, 2008 Share Posted January 19, 2008 Right now I have an HP DV9000 laptop that originally came with the Intel 3945 card. I did the BIOS hack that I found on this site and was able to replace it with a Dell 1390. Now I am looking at getting a Dell laptop, though most of them still come with either the Intel 3945 or 4965 wireless card. Does anyone know if, since it's a Dell, I'd be able to just put in a Dell 1390 or 1505 that I get off of eBay? It sounds like it would work, but I'm not sure with all the whitelist stuff that's going around. I just wanted to see if anyone has been through this before.
