josh256 Posted January 19, 2008 Share Posted January 19, 2008 I've seen 8500gt successes w/ Kalyway however is anyone having success w/ ToH RC2 (now 10.5.1 Vanilla + EFI)? Have tried manual install (adding dev ID to NVDAResman.kext and NV..50.kext) and am using the latest 512MB NVinject Have also tried both installers which use an older NVinject (in both cases selecting 512MB version) In all cases I get a black screen (tough to troubleshoot, occurs post verbose mode boot) xfx 8500gt 512MB 0x042110de can only use/test DVI PS: Would be nice to get this card working as it's the second best silent/fanless card I think (next to the 8600 Silent which is twice the cost and VERY HUGE).. *EDIT: please move to drivers, opened here because of another thread on Z's installer being in here.
