It's a D-Link DWL-G510 card, and as a careful customer I checked its revision, to avoid Cx revisions, which use Ralink chipset instead of Atheros chipset. I installed it but even with 10.4.5/10.4.8 IO80211Family.kext, standard IO80211Family.kext, it didn't worked. I added my ID too, which is 168c:001a, which I written as "pci168c, 1a" in the plists. What should I do to make it work? It has been installed on a AMD system running tubgirl AMD 10.4.10. And it is strange that I cannot change it to en1. After I edit that file to en1, it become en0 after restart. iNoob Posted February 11, 2008 Author Share Posted February 11, 2008 On that plist you edited en0 > en1 in the airport/ethernet, look for a key which has "integer" or something like that and a number string. Change it like, ex.: en0=0 en1=1, etc. Save, fix permissions and reboot. I've made sure the permissions are inplace and tried en0 and en1 but it still does the same thing!! (you have to change a intreg to make it stay when rebooting) anyone?
