brandone20
Hi there, I have just bought my first mac (macbook pro) which iam mainly going to use for personal use but will also use it for work when I travel. To connect to my work server I will need to install windows xp or vista (preferred) using bootcamp. I only have an upgrade copy of vista ultimate, so my question is this. Can I install xp using bootcamp than upgrade to Vista? Is there a certain procedure I need to follow? Is there a recommended size for the windows partition? Any insight would be appreciated Thanks, Brandon Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/82340-bootcamp-install-xp-upgrade-to-vista/ Share on other sites
Berzerker
As far as I know, the upgrade process will work, since it's just Windows on an NTFS disk, should be fine just doing the normal way by initiating it in Windows.
