Hello,

I'm sorry if this is obvious to you or it has been answered before. Go easy on me!

I have iATKOS v1.0i R2 Leopard (with INTEL MET BOOTFIX apparently), and I am experiencing a problem wherein the installation won't boot properly.

Instead, ultimately it boots to a light blue screen and does nothing.

The first time I did this I sat through 20 minutes or so of the Apple logo and all the disc activity, this didn't tell me anything about what went wrong, so I tried again with the -v switch to see all the diagnostic messages.

The only message I managed to get was along the lines of "unable to mount disk0p1" (or similar) and a status code 0x0000049 possibly but I only managed to catch a glimpse before I stuck on the light blue screen.

So, any suggestions? My specs are below:

HP Pavilion DV4046EA

Intel® Centrino™ Mobile Technology featuring Intel® Pentium® M Processor 730

533 MHz Bus speed

Level 2 cache 2MB

1.5GB RAM

60GB

DVD Writer dual format (+/-R +/-RW) with Double Layer support

Digital Media Reader (6 in 1) (xD, SD, Smart Media, Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, Multimedia Card)

10/100 LAN Ethernet integrated

Intel® Pro/Wireless 2200 802.11b/g Integrated Wireless LAN

Bluetooth®

IEEE 1394 Interface

One type I or II PC card slot. CardBus-enabled One ExpressCard/54 slot

Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 900

3D Sound Blaster Pro compatible sound 16 bit integrated

Does any one suggest that perhaps I just try a different release instead?

I don't mind whether it works best for dual boot configurations or osx86 only - any suggestions? If I could fix this without downloading another ISO that would be advantageous.

Has no one come across it before?

your problem is ur graphics card....in order to get past the blue screen you either have to hook your laptop up to an external monitor which in inconveniant...or you can use the paperclip trick.....the link below shows the paperclip trick on a dell laptop.......instead of hooking up the paperclips how he did it, try hooking only one up from hole number 6 to hole number 12.....thats how i got mine to work.

Hello People,

I just joined. I have a few questions.

I have just download IATKOS V1 from Rapid share ( http://rapidshare.com/users/DF1W2S?byfilename=1).

It has all the files. I joined the iso files and then i burnt it on a DVD-R. I restarted my comp and found that nothing happened. It did not automatically boot... Nothing.. I applied the patch on the joined file which i read somewhere. and the second time i wrote it on a new blank dvd r.  Nothing happened at all.. i took 4 days to download the whole thing. its 2.5 gb. I am now getting irritated. its not installing.. not booting.. please guys can you check the link and tell me what to do step by step to boot it and install it. I tried searching everywhere for a step by step installation guide.. but i didnt find anything. I hope you people will help me.

Thanks alot in advance.. I hope to receive a post on what i have to exactly do..

Chao..

Chetan In that rapidshare folder theres a program called FFSJ.exe use that to join the 25 files: iATKOS_v1.0i.iso.001 thru iATKOS_v1.0i.iso.025.

There are other files in the rapidshare folder that are useful like: iATKOS_v1.0iR2.ZIP which contains a PPF file and the program ppf-o-matic that you need to patch the iso with.
