labria Posted January 31, 2006 Share Posted January 31, 2006 I've been running OSX on this mobo a month already, but i still have two problems: - The sound input doesn't work. It has a built-in Realtek ALC681. - The GMA900 can be cobfigured only for 8MB from bios. It doesn't matter in Windows, as it supports the DMT, but I would like to have more in OSX. Any clue? labria Posted February 1, 2006 Author Share Posted February 1, 2006 I got past the memory limit (it seems), you just choose "Fix" or "Fix+DVMT" in memory type - and it lets you choose up to 120MB of ram for the Video. Yet, OpenGL games like Oni just SUCK on this card But still no sound. bpeugh Posted February 1, 2006 Share Posted February 1, 2006 I have the same mobo and am using a 128MB X300SE PCIe card which is supported. Unreal Tournament and Halo run fine.
