nick5555 Posted January 16, 2008 Share Posted January 16, 2008 I'm running kalyway 10.5.1 with vanilla kernel, and everything works. My USB ports works when I insert a harddrive or mouse, but when I insert my Roland usb midi keyboard, it lights up for halv a second then stops. koroumel Posted January 16, 2008 Share Posted January 16, 2008 I do not have the same keyboard, I have the M-audio Axiom and it worked without any hasle. I have the Kalyway too, so it is either a mobo problem or a keyboard one. The keyboard part can be solved by visiting the Roland site and try to find any specific drivers for leopard, the mobo one is harder to solve. You need to see if others have problems connecting "different" hardware to this motherboards usb ports. :S I may not helped much, but see it as a neuro-network note Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I was able to have my USB MIDI keyboard Sinn7 Kommodor49 recognized and working installing the Edirol PCR-500 driver ver.2.0.
