droid2k
Hello, I have a P5B-E Hackintosh and when I record with Audacity or any other audio capture software, the recording from my USB Audio headset has several echos, repeats, crackles, and pops. This same headset works fine on my iBook and in Windows though. Anyone else with similar issues?
abcsoy
Yes, a different set of USB hardware I think, but I get it during playback as well. I'm looking into solutions right now, no luck yet
spoonie
my m-box crackles if i'm running any video-streams at the same time as audio (through the mbox). i dont have the same problem if running audio out of the built-in ALC888. Asrock Conroe 1333 here. no problems on cracking audio in or out on the mbox if i'm JUST doing audio. Protools or Logic.
abcsoy
I decided to try my usb sound hardware in an earlier install of tiger, and it worked fine great even. The difference is that my 8800gt in tiger doesn't work at all, so I figured I would give it a try in Leopard without my 8800gt. That cleared up the audio problems I had playing movies ect in VLC. My onboard video is a GMA950. I'm hoping the 10.5.2 will increase the performance in the 8800gt and clear up the problems.
