(MoC)
After recently doing an upgrade to the wonderful NT 6.0 it lost my storage partition with 20 GB of backups on it. I used Find and Mount Pro and I can mount it but I can't make it STAY mounted. I can see it in disk management as a foreign partition but it is NTFS and THERE!!!!! I only upgraded because of compatibility issues and I desperately need help! Dermatea
By NT 6.0 do you mean Vista or Server 2008? Apparently one of your partitions is no longer recognized when you upgraded to "NT 6.0". So maybe reformatting the faulty partition will clear some things up. You will have to backup all your data before that though. When installing a new version of Windows on a used partition, sometimes the other partition needs to be reformatted as well to avoid compatibility errors. With Vista, doing a clean install is always better and you can set up all your partitions then. Do that and you shouldn't have any issues.
