It is supposed to work with both, and I want to know of any other experiences with this card. supermegatron Posted January 31, 2006 Share Posted January 31, 2006 that card does work. in osx86 but you could save yourself 100 bucks buy buy the 69 dollar ati radeon 9550 on tigerdirect.com and flashing it to a 9600 pro. I was going to ask (since I don't know much about having a mac os on a pc with or without windows and don't know that much about hacking) if this card is of interest to the people here does it solve any problems? or if hacking drivers and stuff make this not anything that hasn't aready been achieved? Oh btw, I'm building a computer at the moment which I buy a peice at a time when things are on sale cheap and i bought my vid card long before any thoughts of possibly putting a 10.4.4 or 10.4.5 or any alternative OS's (just for testing purposes and to learn how to dev and stuf) because at the time I had never heard of doing that with things that are not Linux or Windows, and what I have is a e-Ge-force 6600 which is an nvidia from EVGA... are there any drivers out there for this to make it compat with whatever OS's may end up getting tested on this pc?
