cyclonefr
Ditch the 8800GTS 320MB and get a GeForce 8800GT or 8800GTS 512MB (if you care about money, buy the GT, since there is pretty much no difference between the GTS 512 and the GT). mrjoe
Get 8 GB RAM! It's cheap nowadays, and makes your system run as fast w/ Vista as a 2 GB RAM one would with XP. (lol)
Badie05
I already own the 8800GTS and 700Watt PSU and 320GB HD. Everything else is new parts coming in April. I might swap the HDS in Favour of SSD Drives.

chuckeroo
Hello! This is my first post, so go easy on me. I am looking to build my first computer ever as I have been a mac user for many years, and have been holding off on a Mac Pro due to the expense. I will be building a hackintosh system with specs very close to those you are describing. My question (about time, huh?): You mention you are going to overclock your processor pretty substantially. I am wondering: - Where could I find the best detailed walkthrough on how to safely overclock my new Intel CPU when I get it - How difficult is it, really? As I said, I have never built a computer before, but have done plenty of computer related/electronics hacks, so I would call myself a hobbyist, definitely no expert. Thanks for any help!
