KALYWAY 10.5.1 installer doesn't detect USB mass storage devices

Hi,

 

I tried to install Leopard on my PC with a ASUS P5B

Deluxe MB, but the installer doesn't detect my USB mass storage devices such as USB HDD or Flash disk. 

My mouse is also connected via USB and it works fine so I can say the USB contro

ler is actually working. Any ideas how to resolve my problem?

There are more than 3 common Leopard installation ways

one this the Retail Version of Leopard, Kalyway is another, Brazil, .........

 

System Specifications, Install methods are a MUST for anyone to answer you

if you want to keep them secret, just search for solutions with the same specifications, someone else posted.

As Ialready said the system is based on an ASUS P5B Deluxe

Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600

2GB DDRII 800MHz

nVidia GeForce 7950GT

 

I plan to install Leopard on an 120GB external HDD, which is connected to the PC via USB. I also tried FireWire but that dindn't worked as well. The installer only detects my two HDDs which are connected to the SATA ports, but I don't want to use them for installation.

 

Furthermore I used iATKOS 1.0 r2. This one detects all the USB mass storage devices, but when the installation was finished, it won't boot off the HDD. Only a blinking dash was shown.
