Hello, I have the following hardware:

Q6660

eVGA 680i

eVGA 8800 GTS

60 GB IDE disk

DVD-RW SATAII drive

And I'm trying to install Kylaway in the IDE disk, thing is, most of times it asks me to reboot (while entering the setup process or during the setup process) or it just hangs while I'm selecting the install options. I tried looking around, but I didn't find anyone with a similar setup as mine with the same problem. What do I have to do to sucessfully install? It's definitly not a DVD problem since the friend who borrowed me the DVD has sucessfully installed Leopard in his HP laptop.

Sorry if, you guys are probably tired of these questions, but I'm a newbie into the scene, last time I attempted it was Panther in my old AMD 3500+ and it didn't go well.

Sorry mate, but this forum's usually pretty dead...

Try looking around the Genius Bar (tutorials) for some tutorials on how to do what you're trying to do. That's how I did it for my dell inspiron 1525.

Good luck.

I have a problem, I got 10.5.1 Kalyway also, but It gets to "Time Remaining: About a minute" and just stays there. Why is that?
