anti_user
Hello! I have laptop and USB External HD. My internal HD use WinXP (i wouldnt touch it). I run Leopard 10.5.1 Kaly setup disk then i go to disk utility - create one MBR partition MacOS Journaled and no more (i get one ~76gb partition). Then im proceed install - check in Bootloader section MBR (because i mark it in Disk Utility) and Vanilla kernel. So, i install my system. (That partition on external USB HD in WinXP are show as Active partition) when i press F9 to choose boot device - i marked USB HD. Than i have always red led on my USB HD and no more (Leopard doesnt boot, but if i boot from dvd and type him root device its working). Where is my mistake? BJMoose
I had this happen with one of my usb drives and discovered that I needed to switch usb ports. Apparantly, not all are created equal. xiaoqi7
Maybe you don't need install EFI. And you can try different version Leopard. Such as iATKOS 1.0i, KALYWAY LEOPARD 10.5.1.
