AcidRain9
I just installed Osx 10.4.10 on my machine (details below). for some reason every once in a while the whole system freezes and i have to reboot. anyone know anything about this or know how to fix it? also if anyone knows how i can find the cause of this. i will say that i noticed this problem on 10.4.8 too... just not as often. it froze on me twice last night while installing WoW from a dvd. AcidRain9
Just an update... I thought the freeze might be caused by forcedeth so i disabled both onboard lans in BIOS and removed forcedeth and still froze up... also removed my ATI Radeon X1600 PCIe and replaced it with a Geforce 6200 PCI card and removed Natit kexts and still froze.... so i have no idea, not sure whats causing it. Any Ideas? EDIT/UPDATE: Seems to be that having 4Gb of Ram and using a PATA Drive do not like eachother. (or so i've read) i removed 1Gb and no freezing!
