Max1980 Posted January 9, 2008 Share Posted January 9, 2008 Hi I have a working GMA X3100 with Paulicat's Natit kext (AppleFramebuffer deleted). If I connect an external monitor, I can have 2 separated displays, but If I select mirror both internal and external displays do not work (strange characters displayed) My problem is that if I connect a projector for some reasons goes to the mirrored mode. How can I disable the mirrored mode for the projector or is there a workaround to make mirroring works ? Please help Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
warandpeace Posted January 9, 2008 Share Posted January 9, 2008 I had a similar problem with my X3100 and my HDTV. The way I solved it was to go ahead, connect the display, and allow it to kick itself into mirroring mode. Then reboot the computer while the displays are corrupted. When booting, use -x to boot into safe mode, and then go to your displays tab, uncheck Mirror, and then pull the primary display over to the projectors screen. Then exit and and reboot.
