Hello all its been a while since i installed osx86 plus it was on an older computer basicaly i have the following

 

 

VIIV E6750 CORE 2 DUO

 

MEMORY 4GB DUAL CHANNEL DDR2 667MHZ [4X1GB]

 

HARD DRIVE 320GB SERIAL ATA NON RAID (72

 

SINGLE 768MB NVIDIA GEFORCE 8800 GTX

AUDIO INTEGRATED HDA 7.1 DOLBY DIGITAL C

 

what version Leopard would i need and does anyone have a link

Okay andy, open a command prompt

Type diskpart and then select disk x (the disk you want to install osx on)

Then create partition primary id=af

 

If it doesn't let you, then you need to shrink your primary windows partition and then it will let you.

 

I'll log into vista and create a step by step guide.

 

thanks for taking the time to do this guide, I assume I need to partition a bit of free space first?

IS IT POSSIBLE to download an orginal mac os x driver from my customer and use it in the mac os x installed on my pc?

The PC is GREAT, the gFX card is a bit tricky to get going BUT very good,NO links are allowed on this forum but if you go to the "Caribbean" you will meet someone there that can help you! SticMAN

so the only problem is to get some windoof hardware to work right?mhh

so the only thing i need is

 

wintv nova splus to get work

ALC662 issnt needed if my rme sound card is working....

 

what about the video card Integrated Radeon X1200 VPU ??

its working without a driver? and i only need a driver if i wanna play games or use opengl? is that right?

right I am lost cause i done as stated and when I went to installer I got the below

as reccomended by iceyone i hit -v to see what was happening and i realized that my install is freezing when this line shows up

 

"bsd root,. disk 053, major 14, minor 2"

 

I tried this a second time and it read

 

"bsd root,. disk 053, major 14, minor 5"

 

is this of any significance? i originally used gparted to partition my hard drive but i'm going to undo that since the comp will be leopard only. it's an IDE hard drive in a P4 computer.

Hi all, my first post..... I have managed to install Aitkos on my Dell D620 laptop. It dual boots with my windows 32bit XP fine. My only issue is that the sound card does not work yet. There is also no Battery indicator (any ideas on this).If anyone wants to know how I did anything just ask.D620 1gb ram 80GBhdd(sata internal), DVDCheersHi all, my first post..... I've thrown the towel in on this I cant get it to boot at all its frustrating and annoying lol and before anyone says it no I wont buy a mac I cant afford it right now
