mikerzt Posted January 29, 2006 Share Posted January 29, 2006 im having such a hard time installing this. i'm trying to install it on my other computer. it is a p4 1.8ghz 512mb ram 126mb nvidia 5200. I'm prettty sure i can run this. the problem im having is that when i load up the installation dvd....it'll ask me to press enter or enter a boot sequence...i press enter and it'll take me to the screen with the apple logo in the middle. it then asks me to restart by pressing down on my power button or through reset button. so i do that.....i restart, it takes me to the same place and it just goes back to the restart screen every single time. am i doing something wrong? am i suppose to enter a boot sequence? i have a 200gb hdd. i partitioned out my windows with 140gb, and ready for this macos with 60gb. any help is appreciated. thanks. mikerzt Posted January 29, 2006 Author Share Posted January 29, 2006 hmm, okay, so i tried platform=X86PC -v and it stalls on the line that says Waiting for remote debugger connection. kdp_poll: no debugger device when i try platform=X86PC -x -v, it stalls but my cpu light stays solid which means my hard drive is doing something... any other ideas?
