laxattack Posted January 8, 2008 Share Posted January 8, 2008 much like the topic states, tried with the disk i found in the usual place and ide drive was the only one read, and booting failed. i want to update my existing osx installation minor hardware specs are in my sig, if i need more detail let me know. velvetk Posted January 9, 2008 Share Posted January 9, 2008 Did you burn it with DVD-R. It did not boot for me when I used DVD-RW. I tried to install it on IDE but no success, had to switch to SATA. If you are still having trouble after all, tried to install Tiger first and then install Leopard on top of it.
