rimmi2002 Posted January 8, 2008 Share Posted January 8, 2008 Hi I am installing a iatkos 10.5.1 on my Dell inspiron 1520. My vista came with 4 paritions already, so the partition program would not let me make another partition. So I decided to format by 6.2gb recovery partition to Fat32 and install the leopard on there. However, when I go through the installation and it ask me to pick a disk to install on there is no viable option there. what am I doing wrong? Is it not possible to install it on the recovery disk? My main disk is 90gb and has vista on it. I would appreciate your help. Thanks. sdelano Posted January 8, 2008 Share Posted January 8, 2008 From the install screen menu select the Disk Utility application and format that FAT32 partition to HFS+. Easy as pie. Also is there anything special about the Vista recovery disc partition that would prevent me from installing the Leopard on there or running it from there?
