hiside11
I have a $400 credit at office depot (techdepot.com) and I was interested in building a OSX86 machine. My problem is they don't sell the Q6600 which I wanted and the Q6700 is overpriced (629.99). They are carrying the Q9450 ( 12MB cache, 2.66Ghz, 1333Mhz FSB, 45nm) for $381. I wanted to get the "Bad Axe 2" board but I believe it doesn't support this new processor. Does anyone have a suggestion for a board that does support this new processor but has minimum problems. hiside11
Asus P5K series How compatible are these boards with OSX86? I've done some more digging around and found that the Abit IP35 pro is suppposed to be very compatible with the Kalyway 10.5.2 release. Is the Asus board similar in compatibility. Also I'm very nerw to overclocking and would like to know if these boards are good for this?
