Its a good laptop, just not what I want! Reason for selling - My old IBM failed, so I got a replacment from my insurance company. Unfortunately they sent a PC and I wanted a Mac. So! Looking for - Any intel-based mac notebook considered. Even an entry-level macbook (none-pro). OR A decent offer for it. See below for "list price". Im not expecting that, but Im not going to consider anything that puts me too far away from being able to afford a Macbook. Location - UK. If your willing to cover internation shipping, then I may consider that too! Things to note - Comes with all reload disks / all cables / boxed as new (bar the selotape I will re-seal it with). Ebuyer (one of the UK's cheapest online retailers) have my exact model marked as £850.98 including VAT. Thanks for looking, and hope to hear from you soon! PM or reply if interested! djXtreme
I can tell you now, as of this moment it doesnt run mac. Well, it does, but not usable. You can get Leoplard 10.5.1 EFI installed, but the x3100 display has alluded me so far. Add in lack of sound/Lan/WLAN and its pretty much a no-goer. Its a Santa-rosa chipset though, so I feel it is just but a matter of time before you would be able to get full compatibility.
