Hyper X
I am running a 1000CL Chip on my motherboard. It finds the card ok and can use it. The problem is 25% of the time it doesnt work. It wont get an address and shows as not connected. I am forced to change the setting on the card from auto to manual *Full Duplex, 100tx, blah blah* then back to automatic to get it to work. Sometimes I have to reboot fully. Since this is a server this is not really acceptable. Please can anyone help?

chevy2410
Go buy a compatible cheap network card and be done with it? Stop banging your head against the wall. Compatible network cards are cheap. Chevy
Hyper X
The thing is this is suppose to be a compatible card. I have a 3com 3C905 card I can slap in, but I am worried I will run into the same issues. Plus I got from 10/100/1000 to 10/100. Others have listed it being 100% good to go... soo ;\

Hyper X
I tried the kext, repaired permission, and even did a -f flag. It locked up access to networking in System Preferences and the network card still didnt work ;\ What version was that and does anyone else have any other versions? like 10.4.4 or 10.4.7? I am also looking into the Small Tree Drivers Found Here but since they are designed only for their cards modification might be needed. Can anyone help?
