htmlguru
I've installed OSx86 (build 8F1099) on my Dell Dimension 4300 (Celeron 2.6 installed by me), 192 mb ram. It installed natively, and runs well (though a bit slow due to lack of ram). However, the audio playback, regardless of application, is increased in speed about 20%. Both the pitch and speed are increased. Any ideas how to fix this? zodiacchatter
Go to Applications->Utilities->Audio MIDI Setup Change the audio output format to 44100khz Hint: you may have to change the "Properties for" to get to the screen you need. htmlguru
Ok, it's STILL doing this, even if this change is made. Any other suggestions? The system RAM has also been upgraded to 256 (though this obviously has no effect) Perhaps another soundcard would help?
